COMPETITION FOR THE DESIGN OF THE LOGO OF THE AFRICAN CENTER FOR COORDINATION AND RESEARCH IN CYBERSECURITY

Togo and the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), announce that the future African Cybersecurity Coordination and Research Center (ACCRC) should be launched in December in Lomé.

In this sense, the two partners are launching a competition to design logos, for the structure which aims to become a leader in the field of cybersecurity.

Indeed, the government of the Togolese Republic, under the supervision of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Digital Transformation, has just announced, together with the ECA, this competition, in an official press release. The competition thus opened has a prize pool of $2,000 (i.e. 1.32 million CFA francs). “The competition is open to all Africans between the ages of 18 and 35, regardless of gender. “, we say.

In addition, group participation is permitted, provided that all team participants meet the age group requirements. “This is an opportunity for young Africans to demonstrate their abilities in the field of computing and design. Thanks to the competition, young developers will have the chance to show their creativity on continental stages. “, adds the official announcement.

Entries must be submitted no later than September 30, 2022. The jury will review all entries and the winner will be announced on October 31, 2022.
